a few funny things and a huge accomplishment

*Ryker calls our christmas tree(yes I put it up already) the pokey pokey. It cracks me up.

*My christmas tree gets redecorated at least 4 times a day. It is currently, and might permanantly stay, only decorated on the top half.

*Little cars are Ryker new favorite toy. He usually always has one in his hand. He will come over and hide it under my leg, or put it down my shirt or wherever and then say, "ka go?" Which means Where did the car go mom. He loves that game.

*He is officially off the bottle! HURRAY!! Rough couple of days, but I am so happy. He did great.

6. I am thankful for the dollar store. Might sound weird, but I love that place. They have lots of great stuff if you just look.

7. Grateful for a reliable car.

8. So thankful for my camera to capture my cute little Ryker bug and all his cuteness.

9. SO thankful to not have a t.v. on the main floor in my house. Much more peaceful.

10. I am loving our wood burning fireplace. It is So cozy and fun right now.

Well my little boy is almost 17 months old and I am still adding to his "nursery".
Oh well, I love it.

I saw this cute idea in a magazine. You get some thick wire and wrap it with fabric.
Add some ribbon and a button or whatever you want. I think it is so cute!

This is my bedroom

The sheetrock on the ceiling was drooping. According to my husband droopy sheetrock
is not a good thing. So we moved into the bedroom across the hall. Now the sheetrock
is not drooping. We also re-textured the walls and started painting.
Isn't the color on the back wall dreamy?I love my fence bed up against
it. I CAN see the potential.

I did this project a while ago but wanted to post it. It gets me thinking
abou tother pieces of furnitute I don't love.

This is the before. I thought it was pretty ugly. Knew it had potential.

Here is the after. I love it. It was so easy too. I spray painted the chair, then when it was dry
I beat it up with a hammer. My neighbors are probably a little worried about me.
Then I brushed on some brown stain and wiped it off.
My front room is finally turning into a room I love.

I thought fall weather was here...til this week. It has been so beautiful.
Today it was 80* and so went downtown to this great little
park that has a fun place to play in the water. Ryker was lovin it.
Love this St. Goerge weather right now!

are you noticing a trend?

You really never know what you might find in cupboards around
my house. It constantly keeps me laughing.

Happy November

I love fall best out of all the seasons. The crisp cooler air and the beautiful colors of the leaves. Thanksgiving and family are the best.

I am copying one of my friends blogs who is going to list something everyday in November that she is thankful for.

1. I am SO THANKFUL for my beautiful baby boy. He brings so much joy to my life.

2. I am thankful for Jesse and his home remodeling skills. Also for how hard he works for our family. Thanks babe!!

3. I am so very thankful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. What joy and comfort it brings to my life! I am so grateful to know that I can be with my family forever.

4. Thankful for a wonderful family. Happy to be so close. I have great parents and wonderful sisters.

5. I am thankful for my job.

Happy Halloween

We had lots of fun this year. Ryker caught on very
fast at our neighborhood trunk-or-treat to take a
candy and put it in his bag. He was so cute in his
costume. He even left the hat on the whole night.

Stopping by Grandpa and Grandma's house.

Helping mommy hand out candy(or something like that).
