play date
Ryker had his first play date on Friday. My bestest friend Jill and I met in Fillmore( i know, where else would anyone possibly want to spend the day) to hang out for the day. She was in Heber City visiting her family and Fillmore was the halfway point between us. So I loaded up the car and we made the two hour drive and met Jill and Kaden. The boys just stared at each other and slept, but Jill and I had fun catching up. Our babies are only about 6 weeks apart so we had lots to talk about. I love you Jill! Thanks for meeting us.

one month old
Ryker is a month old already. Time just passes so quickly. He is starting to fit in his newborn clothes this week. I left him for the first time tonight. Jesse and I went to the movies. Morgan stayed with him. It was a very long 3 hours. I missed him so much.

Tummy Time
Ryker loves tummy time. He is really starting to control his head pretty good. He tries so hard to stay up, but he gets tired after a few minutes.

Two weeks old!
This has been a magical experience for us. What an awesome two weeks. I am so happy and grateful to be a mom. I love it!! Ryker is starting to be a lot more alert these days. He stays awake longer and just stares at us. It is so cute. He has started doing some tummy time and his neck is getting stronger. He can hold up his head pretty good now. He loves to eat and swing. He also loves when grandma reads him books. He loves being with Grandpa and Grandma. We love you Ryker!!!

Thank heaven for little boys
Ryker is one week old today. What a wonderful week it has been. Ryker is so sweet and happy. He never cries and just squeeks when he is hungry. He loves to be swaddled as tight as can be by his daddy. Jesse is the best swaddler.
Ryker had a busy day yesterday on the fourth. We played with his cousins Paige, Kacey, and Mallorie. Look how cute they all are in their patriotic outfits.
Then we went to grandmas for a bar-b-que. It was so fun.
We finished the day off with fireworks which he slept through, but it was such a fun day.
