I can't believe Ryker is two months old. Sometimes it seems like he has been here forever and I can't remember life without him. Then sometimes it seems like it was yesterday I held him for the first time. He is such a happy baby. He is all smiles now. I can't think of anything better than a big ear to ear grin in the morning.

At his two month appt, he weighed 11 pounds 4 ounces. He is now 23 1/4 inches long. What big boy!!

Ryker is so happy in the morning right when he wakes up. I love it, he just smiles and coos and stretches. I caught some of it this morning.

This is how I found Ryker the other night. So cute. His arms are up off the pillow, he just held them up in the air and slept that way for like half an hour.

Fun in the Sun

Ryker had his first pool experience a week ago. We were up in Farmington at grandpa and peela's house. Ryker lasted in the pool a whole 2 1/2 minutes. But boy did he look cute in his board shorts!!!Ryker hanging out with Grandpa and Peela

My favorite new accesory

I am loving my new baby carrier. I am totally into baby wearing. It is a sleepy wrap. Ryker seems to like it, although Jesse thinks otherwise. He says he looks very uncomfy and has to be claustrophobic. He cuddles right up and sleeps through everything. I clean, do my hair, sew, vacuum etc. while wearing him. He takes longer naps while he is in it than he does in his crib or swing. It took a few tries to get the hang of but I love it now.

I love being a mom....

because of how he needs me for every little thing, and I love taking care of him.

because of how I know just what to do to comfort him when he cries.

because my life has a lot more meaning now.

because of how it feels when he snuggles his head up under my chin.

because I can smell that sweet baby smell anytime I want.

I had Morgan dye my hair yesterday. I needed a change. I really like it.

Ok so I had to make a new post because my mom didn't like the inappropriate gesture and told me she was going to call child services. HA Ha
