We saw santa.

Were much happier away from santa

We played lots of games

We used a new style of Christmas tree decorating

We took the bows of most of the prestents

We cooked lots of yummy food.



Ryker got lots of cars

We even had to sleep with them

I love this video. I think it is so funny. Ryker wouldn't eat his chicken nuggets. He was driving them around the tray like cars saying "vroom vroom". Then he starts singing this little song he sings sometimes "Ryker and mommy". It is so funny. He sings it over and over.

Ryker was so fun this year when we put up our tree. He redecorated it over and over.
He says "lights..lights", everymorning when he gets up so I will plug in the tree lights.

a few funny things and a huge accomplishment

*Ryker calls our christmas tree(yes I put it up already) the pokey pokey. It cracks me up.

*My christmas tree gets redecorated at least 4 times a day. It is currently, and might permanantly stay, only decorated on the top half.

*Little cars are Ryker new favorite toy. He usually always has one in his hand. He will come over and hide it under my leg, or put it down my shirt or wherever and then say, "ka go?" Which means Where did the car go mom. He loves that game.

*He is officially off the bottle! HURRAY!! Rough couple of days, but I am so happy. He did great.

6. I am thankful for the dollar store. Might sound weird, but I love that place. They have lots of great stuff if you just look.

7. Grateful for a reliable car.

8. So thankful for my camera to capture my cute little Ryker bug and all his cuteness.

9. SO thankful to not have a t.v. on the main floor in my house. Much more peaceful.

10. I am loving our wood burning fireplace. It is So cozy and fun right now.

Well my little boy is almost 17 months old and I am still adding to his "nursery".
Oh well, I love it.


I saw this cute idea in a magazine. You get some thick wire and wrap it with fabric.
Add some ribbon and a button or whatever you want. I think it is so cute!
